Your wedding day is your story waiting to be told – not just through images, but through moments filled with emotion and meaning. In the historic and picturesque city of Canterbury, I specialise in capturing those authentic, heartfelt memories with a blend of documentary-style storytelling and artistic, editorial elegance. Whether you're celebrating in the shadow of Canterbury Cathedral or amidst the countryside charm, I’ll ensure your wedding day is beautifully preserved with timeless images that reflect your joy and love.
Capture every moment of your Canterbury wedding with full-day or half-day coverage, combining documentary-style photography with editorial sophistication. Engagement sessions are also available, offering 1-2 hours of relaxed, professional photography at a Canterbury location of your choice – whether it’s the historic city centre or a beautiful beach setting nearby.
Behind the lens
Hi, I’m Tom a Kent-based wedding photographer with a passion for capturing real, unscripted moments that make your wedding day unforgettable. My style blends documentary-style storytelling with a refined, editorial touch – ideal for couples who want natural, beautiful photos without all the stiff posing.
I’ve had the joy of photographing weddings at some of my favorite venues in and around Canterbury, including the breathtaking Canterbury Cathedral, the charming countryside setting of Winters Barns, and the funfair venue Marleybrook House. Whether you're getting married in a grand historic venue or a cozy outdoor spot, I’ll be there to capture every laugh, tear, and happy dance, so you can relive your day for years to come.
My approach is to capture real, candid moments as they unfold, preserving the genuine emotions and details that make your day unique. The result is a collection of stunning, high-end photos that tell your love story with artistic finesse.
"We have the most beautiful images of our day, they’re not your average wedding photos, they are full of atmosphere, personality and life and we thank you so much for that Tom!"

We would 100% recommend Tom to any couple looking for a wedding photographer in Kent, he is such a professional! We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding photographs!

It’s best to book as early as possible, especially for popular wedding seasons. I recommend securing your date at least 12-18 months in advance to ensure availability.
You will receive them 6-8 weeks after your wedding. However, you can request a faster turn-around of 1-2 weeks if you wish.
Yes! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. It’s also a chance to capture beautiful, relaxed moments at a location of your choice.
Unfortunately, as I receive hundreds of enquiries each year, I’m only able to meet with couples who have booked me. Once you have paid your deposit, I am happy to Zoom or have your consultation near Ramsgate.
Absolutely! While I specialize in Cambridge weddings, I’m available for weddings across the UK and abroad. Let me know your location, and we can discuss the logistics.
I'm a recommended photographer at The Old Kent Barn & Reach Court Farm which is a short drive outside of Canterbury. Alternatively I recommend checking out Winters Barn, Marleybrook House, Preston Court & The Night Yard. Otherwise have a look at my Top Kent Wedding Venues here.
