Every photographer has a distinct perspective, shaped not just by their shooting style, but by who they are. Instead of comparing ourselves to the endless stream of social media, I’m here to help you, nurture you and encourage your unique gift.
Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine your skills, photography mentoring can be a game-changer. I offer tailored, one-on-one mentoring sessions designed to help you build confidence, master your camera, and create stunning images that reflect your vision.

Behind the lens
After shooting my first wedding in 2012, I worked for modelling agencies in Mayfair and had my fashion photography printed in Italian Vogue; I photographed a few celebrities, got married in 2018 and have enjoyed being a luxury documentary wedding photographer ever since.
Nisha Todd - Canterbury based photographer
"It's been great getting mentored by tom - being used to studio based photography, working with Tom to master weddings taught me a variety of new techniques and how to work under a different kind of pressure"

I understand how difficult it can be to receive critique and instruction, and I recognise the importance of nurturing and support in your creative journey.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by weddings? Struggling to achieve a consistent editing style? Unsure about selling products? I’ll provide a questionnaire to fill out before our Zoom call, ensuring we make the most of our time together. Plus, I’ll be available for follow-up questions to support you along the way.
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

The skills I have learnt with Tom transferred into all of my photography business. What helped was that I always felt comfortable to ask Tom anything if I felt stuck. He's extremely patient and brilliant at explaining everything."
