A Cambridge Home Garden Vegan Wedding

Weddings

When I received an enquiry about an all vegan wedding featuring doughnuts from my favourite doughnut bar “crosstown” I jumped at the opportunity to photograph this wedding! Usually it’s rare that I have clients decide to host their wedding at a stately home, but for this one you just HAVE to see the photos.

Enlisting the help from a Vegan Wedding Planner

Janki and Andy were fortunate to have family on Andy’s side with substantial land and facilities to host their big day. With the help of Wedding Planner Amy at Amaranthyne they made it happen very smoothly.

Banyers House Bridal Hotel Wedding

Janki got ready at the classy Banyers House in Roysten. Still, I always recommend having bridal preparation somewhere with minimal mess which makes for less busy photos. Janki had her Mother and Auntie help her with preparation which helped her feel comfortable.

Cambridgeshire Stately Home Wedding Inspiration

When considering your wedding space it’s good to think of where your guests can relax and explore. Basically it is helpful having areas assigned to ceremony, reception and chatting. Although this was a stately home, there were plenty of areas to host the wedding party.

Super friendly Wedding Celebrant Jamie Walker

Andy’s arrival was amazing! He was driven by an old school Lotus with all of the wedding guests parading behind him! After the religious ceremony, Janki & Andy led the guests through the forest where they exchanged vows led by Jamie Walker Cambridge Celebrant. Following a fitting “high five”, Janki & Andy were showered with confetti before canapés.

Authentic Couple Photographs

The couple shoot was fun! I didn’t need to give the couple much direction. As my approach is less “posey” and more explorative, we went for a walk through the woods. I gave them space to chat about their mornings so far and their joys of just getting married. I encourage couples to show their love to each other with cuddles and being their authentic selves.

Bespoke, Luxury Vegan Wedding Food

The reception was lavished with yummy vegan food for all guests to enjoy! Crosstown featured as the desserts and every guest loved them. As a wedding photographer living in Kent, Crosstown isn’t a big thing down here, but from London up it’s a right of passage.

Stately home wedding venue

This vegan wedding was one I will forever cherish (not just because there were Crosstown Doughnuts!). The family, the stately home space and how personal it was to the couple. It really shows you should make decisions based on your vision for your wedding. Check out the rest of J&A’s wedding gallery here.
