Your wedding day is your unique story, ready to be told—not just through photographs, but through meaningful moments you get to enjoy. At The Old Kent Barn, a venue renowned for hosting hundreds of weddings each year, your day will still feel deeply personal. Having captured my first wedding here in 2019 and proudly been a recommended supplier ever since, I know how to go with the flow of this beautiful space to capture your authentic, heartfelt memories. With a mix of documentary-style storytelling and editorial elegance, I’ll ensure your wedding day is preserved in timeless images that reflect your joy and love.
Most weddings at the Old Kent Barn are full-day, but I am also available for multi-day coverage. I combine documentary-style photography with editorial sophistication. Engagement sessions are also available, offering 1-2 hours of relaxed, professional photography at a Canterbury location of your choice – whether it’s the historic city centre or a beautiful beach setting nearby.
Behind the lens
Hi, I’m Tom, a Kent-based wedding photographer with a passion for capturing the real, unscripted moments that make your wedding day uniquely yours. My approach combines documentary-style storytelling with a refined, editorial touch—perfect for couples who want stunning, natural photos without the awkward posing.
The Old Kent Barn holds a special place in my heart, not just for its breathtaking setting but for the awesome team that make things happen. Since photographing my first wedding here in 2019, I’ve had the honour of being a recommended supplier, and I’ve loved capturing unforgettable celebrations in this space. Whether it’s the golden hour glow in the gardens or those joyful, emotional moments during the speeches, I’m here to photograph them all.
Kids rolling around the floor getting their suits muddy? Mum holding back tears as she witnesses your wedding dress for the first time? My approach is to capture those real moments without intruding. The result is your story with original, high-end photos that tell your wedding story with class.
"Straight away we're taken by his style and feel such a connection to his work. We felt like it's a little bit different to a lot of wedding photography we had seen - it felt real and raw."

It’s best to book as early as possible, especially for popular wedding seasons. I recommend securing your date at least 12-18 months in advance to ensure availability.
You will receive them 6-8 weeks after your wedding. However, you can request a faster turn-around of 1-2 weeks if you wish.
Yes! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. It’s also a chance to capture beautiful, relaxed moments at a location of your choice.
Unfortunately, as I receive hundreds of enquiries each year, I’m only able to meet with couples who have booked me. Once you have paid your deposit, I am happy to Zoom or have your consultation near Ramsgate.
Absolutely! While I specialize in Cambridge weddings, I’m available for weddings across the UK and abroad. Let me know your location, and we can discuss the logistics.
I'm a recommended photographer at The Old Kent Barn & Reach Court Farm which is a short drive outside of Canterbury. Alternatively I recommend checking out Winters Barn, Marleybrook House, Preston Court & The Night Yard. Otherwise have a look at my Top Kent Wedding Venues here.
